Gulv-grossisten is a webshop focused on selling floors. From February 2022 to March 2023, Gulvgrossisten has experienced great success in implementing a data-centric strategy that tracked conversions across channels and optimized their digital presence.

The challenge
The flooring wholesaler started as a new webshop, without any customer data or previous experience with digital marketing. Therefore, Foecon was contacted to help plan a data-centric strategy that would grow traffic and revenue across channels.

The solution
To address the challenges, Foecon, together with Gulvgrossisten, developed a data-centric strategy that could track conversions across channels and give them a holistic understanding of their marketing effectiveness. Together with Foecon, Gulvgrossisten implemented the following initiatives:
SEO: Keyword analysis, technical review and building an SEO-friendly site, with a focus on ranking high on relevant keywords. In addition, a long-term link building strategy that has focused on creating organic growth and achieving domain authority.
Content marketing: Content for the site has been developed based on the keyword analysis, and helped with images and creatives for the paid ads.
Google Ads: Created converting Google ads campaigns that support Gulvgrossisten's organic traffic, while also sending relevant intent-based users to the site. It is optimized weekly, with a focus on creating the best results.Digital understanding: A general sparring throughout the entire process, where Foecon is transparent with the results, and provides weekly updates on performance. In addition, planning and execution of digital campaigns, across platforms. As well as development of inventory management, affiliate setup and other value-adding initiatives.

The results
After implementing their new strategy, Gulvgrossisten achieved a number of positive results, including:
Several high rankings on Google, and over 30,000 visitors to the website.
Over 500% Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) for Google Ads.
General presence on relevant digital channels and platforms, as well as organic and paid traffic, which to this day is still shown to be highly converting and relevant for Gulvgrossisten.By implementing a data-centric strategy and tracking conversions across channels, Gulvgrossisten has built a company from the start, where Foecon has been responsible for the digital marketing.
